Jaguar Painting Inspiration

I know I should be packing up for my new studio but I was Husband-inspired today. He's been a Jags fan from the very beginning. Years ago when I was a fledgling artist, designing ads for the Times Union, I was blessed to work with major accounts which kept me busy while my husband was in Desert Storm. In '91 I got to work with Rick Catlett and the lobbying team for an NFL team in Jacksonville. The Ad attached is one of the beginning ads I illustrated that featured my husband in the center and Dion Sanders on the right. So eventually we did get a team and here we are in the playoffs. We've had some friends who were choosing to boycott lately but my husband said, "The majority of the guys out there are STILL standing, showing gratitude for the flag and freedom that allows them to play. They're doing their best to support this team and this city and I'm going to support them." And he has in good times and bad. I can't say that I've always been a huge football fan but I sure do love that he is excited and although they lost yesterday, we are still SOO PROUD of the JAGS for getting as far as they did!! The 30x40 has now gone to a new Jags Fan home, but Giclee prints are available on the site.

Teal eyes.

We love how the background darkens in the evening as his face stares at us across the den.
