Vintage Market Days in Charleston

Back in December, I tried out the first Vintage market Days that came to Jacksonville,FL. It was officially in Clay County the Fairgrounds, which seems a good drive from the city, but the crowd showed up. I borrowed art walls from a close friend, which were a life-saver! My flooring-sales hubby provided a great rug that covered my booth space, and totally changed the atmosphere! I highly recommend flooring if you are dealing with a dirt floor.

For three days we were busy non-stop and approx 100 booths fared well. I realized that since it was a new event, most people were there to check things out, buy something cute to take home, and so I had to drop my prices down for original artwork to sell. Fortunately I also had ornaments and other smaller decor items that moved well. It proved to be one of the highlights of my 2016 return to my art business!

This time around, I decided to try out the same VMD in Charleston on April 7-9, and Savannah in June. This time I will be indoors, so no worries about pitching a tent, and I am creating a lot of smaller items to sell, (see my category Decor Gifts) making sure I have an "under $20" category, "under $50, and"under $100." My sweet friend, Kelly with BlueSky Creative will be there as well. If you live in the area, please drop by and say hello!

If you have a commission request, place your order soon and I can possibly deliver it at the event!
