Against the Wind

Named after a famous song about loss and memories, "Against the Wind", by Bob Seger,  these fallen trees along the southern coast line are strong reminders to make the most of our present. Time takes it toll on all of life, with change and loss and we never know what storms lay ahead. Its always best to enjoy the season we are in, with no regrets.

This 36x48x1.5 is a mixed media project including plaster art and glues, acrylic paint and sealant. The tree and seafoam are expressively textured for a three-dimensional effect.

It is currently on display at the Jacksonville International Airport through Jan. 2022
