For many years, I found myself asking God what I was truly meant to do with the life He had given me. Like so many women, especially in the South, I wore so many hats over the years, caring for family, serving others, showing up where I was needed. But deep down, there was always this quiet pull toward creating. and slowing down long enough to truly see the beauty around me.
And through prayer and years of life experience, I realized at its simplest - I was created to be an artist.
To me, being an artist is about far more than paint on canvas. It is about preserving the feeling of a moment before it slips away. It is about storytelling - remembering the old farmhouse roads, the salt air drifting through the marsh, the hush of Spanish moss, the worn hands of a life well lived, and the quiet beauty tucked into ordinary Southern days.
My work is deeply inspired by the South and the sense of nostalgia that lives here. The landscapes, wildlife, backroads, gardens, coastlines, and changing seasons all carry stories worth holding onto. Through oil paint, texture, color, and thoughtful detail, I hope to create artwork that feels personal and familiar, like something remembered from childhood or a place your soul has always known.
I believe beauty matters deeply. I believe our homes should tell stories and hold meaning. I believe art has the ability to bring peace, comfort, and connection in a world that moves far too fast.
Whether you are here collecting original artwork, archival prints, or simply looking for a quiet moment of inspiration, I hope you find something that feels like home.
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
In my newer paintings, I quietly hide a small butterfly - a personal symbol of hope, transformation, and gentle perseverance.
