Launching August 19 at 11 AM

I'm Sophie Dare and I've been a creative artist, designer and writer since Graduating from UGA in 1990. This site features art, prints and gifts for a happy home, based on my fine art.

My middle name,Dare, stems from the NC outer banks and the rich history of Virginia Dare and the Lost Colony.

My art journey has always been a means to offer HOPE to others that may be going through challenges.  Beautiful things can inspire us to pause, take a breath and notice the simple joys that are all around us.

Specifically chosen Art helps us share our story and the life experiences that make up a warm and inviting home. I hope that you find a statement piece of color, a decor item or gift that gives you great joy and sentiment. I also work with clients to personalize select commission projects here.

I approached Sophia wanting a picture of our children for our 17th anniversary. I sent her a few pictures of the children and she did a beautiful pencil drawing, exactly the way I envisioned. When the final painting was complete I was so impressed. I have had many people contact me about Sophia's work once they saw my family painting. I can not wait to commission her to paint us a new painting."

“Sophie did a custom mermaid piece of my family. Never having met us, going off the questions she asked, she created the most beautiful piece of stunning art I own. Looking at it you would think she spends every waking hr with us. She perfectly described our family and we can’t wait to have her create more masterpieces for our home.”

“After being referred by a friend, I asked Sophie to paint a scene on glass for me. She listened, did the research and the finished product exceeded all expectations. She is very talented and easy to work with. I would definitely go back to her for future projects.“
